Description
Designed to hold a single candle when casting spells, this candle holder features a pentacle design. The pentacle is a wiccan symbol featuring the five pointed star of the pentagram enclosed in a circle. This symbolises life and connections for pagans. When you cast your spells, the candle can burn in this symbolic holder while the ritual is performed.
The five points of the star in the pentacle represent the elements of air, water, fire, earth and spirit – this on its own is the pentagram. The surrounding circle completes the pentacle to represent the balance and harmony that comes when the five elements are working in unity. The pentacle is said to offer protection from evil and is a powerful symbol in Christianity.
